Calcium Chloride 25kg/Bag White flakes
Calcium chloride is a white or slightly yellowish solid inorganic compound, belonging to the salt class. It is a typical ionic halide and is widely used in multiple fields due to its high solubility, hygroscopicity and dehydrating property. Depending on its hydrated form, it exists in different physical forms. The most common one is the dihydrate (CaCl2·2H2O), whose high solubility enables it to dissolve rapidly in water, releasing a large amount of heat. Therefore, it is very useful in applications that require rapid heating or drying. In addition, calcium chloride is also frequently used in brine for refrigeration equipment, road de-icing agents and desiccants.

1.Calcium chloride can be used as a multi-purpose desiccant, such as for drying gases like nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, hydrogen chloride, and sulfur dioxide.
2.Calcium chloride aqueous solution is an important refrigerant for refrigerators and ice-making. It can accelerate the hardening of concrete and enhance the cold resistance of building mortar, making it an excellent anti-freezing agent for construction.
3. Calcium chloride is used as a fog suppressant in ports, a dust collector on roads, and a fire retardant for fabrics.
4. CaCl2 is used as a protective agent and refining agent in aluminum-magnesium metallurgy.
5. CaCl2 is a precipitating agent for the production of lake pigments and is used for deinking in waste paper processing.
