Introduction
Caustic soda (NaOH), and is a highly corrosive metal substrate. It is a white solid and can be in the form of pills, flakes or granules. Caustic soda is also easily soluble in ethanol and glycerol; but insoluble in liquid ammonia. Caustic soda is available in both solid and liquid forms.
