Product Introduction
Product Introduction
Soda ash dense, with the chemical name sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃), is one of the common forms of soda ash (sodium carbonate). It has a high density, large particles, and good fluidity, and is mainly produced through further processing of light soda ash. It is widely used in industry and can be applied in fields such as glass manufacturing (to adjust the viscosity of glass), metallurgical smelting (as a flux), chemical production, and detergent preparation. Due to its stable physical properties, it can meet the requirements of various processes for the particle size and purity of raw materials.

Application
1.In glass manufacturing, Sodium Carbonate acts as a key fluxing agent to reduce the melting temperature of silica, improving the fluidity of the glass melt and enhancing the transparency and mechanical properties of the final glass products.
2.In the metallurgical industry, Na₂CO₃ is used as a flux during ore smelting; it helps remove impurities (such as silica) from the ore, forming fusible slags that separate easily from the molten metal, thereby purifying the target metal.
3.In chemical production, Sodium Carbonate serves as a crucial raw material for manufacturing other sodium-containing chemicals, including sodium silicate, sodium bicarbonate, and sodium chromate, supporting the production chain of various chemical products.
4.In the detergent and soap industry, Na₂CO₃ functions as a builder to soften hard water (by reacting with calcium and magnesium ions in water to form precipitates) and enhance the cleaning efficiency of detergents, reducing the consumption of surfactants.
5.In the paper-making process, Sodium Carbonate is applied in the pulping stage to delignify wood fibers; it breaks down the lignin structure in wood, separating cellulose fibers and preparing high-quality pulp for paper production.
