Product Introduction
Sodium nitrate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NaNO3. It is a hygroscopic, colorless and transparent triangular crystal. Decomposes when heated to 380℃. It is highly soluble in water and liquid ammonia, soluble in methanol and ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone, and slightly soluble in glycerol. When dissolved in water, it absorbs heat, the solution cools down, and the aqueous solution is neutral. It is used in the production of nitric acid and sodium nitrite, as an ingredient in the glass, match, enamel or ceramic industries, as a fertilizer, and as a catalyst in the sulfuric acid production industry, etc.

Application
Agricultural fertilization: Sodium nitrate can be used as a fast-acting nitrogen fertilizer to provide nitrogen for crops (such as vegetables and fruit trees), promoting the growth of branches and leaves. It is especially suitable for use in alkaline soil.
Industrial flux: In glass manufacturing, NaNO₃ can lower the melting temperature of glass raw materials, reduce energy consumption, and simultaneously improve the transparency and mechanical strength of glass.
Food additives: Sodium nitrate that meets food-grade standards can be used as a color protector and preservative for meat products, inhibiting the growth of harmful microorganisms and maintaining the bright red color of meat.
Fireworks manufacturing: Sodium nitrate, due to its oxidizing property, can be used as an oxidizing agent in fireworks and firecrackers. When combined with combustible materials, it can produce bright flames and enhance the effect of fireworks display.
Metal heat treatment: In the heat treatment process of steel, NaNO₃ can be used as a salt bath component to help regulate the salt bath temperature, achieving quenching, tempering and other processing of metals, and improving the performance of metals.
